I don't use the phone very often, and it hasn't been topped up for quite a while.  When I switched it on today it came up with the message 'SIM card registration failed'.  What can I do about it?

@Seagreen

Your sim will have been disconnected as you need to send a text or make a call at least once every 6 months.

To reactivate it, you need to call o2 on any of these numbers Guide: Coronavirus Community Help and Support and they will do it for you.

If it has been too long out of use you may have to be given a new number but any credit should be reinstated within 24 hours.

I have no affiliation whatsoever with O2 or any subsidiary companies. Comments posted are entirely of my own opinion. This is not Customer Service so we are unable to help with account specific issues.
