My device is linked to an old email account

I want to set up an auto top-up but I can't register my number to myo2 as it says the device is linked to another email account.  It was initially registered so long ago, Google have since closed that email account so I have no way to sign in and remove my number from that address.

We’re just customers like you but it sounds like you’ll need someone to access your account which can’t be done from here. If you message O2 on Facebook (https://o2uk.co/O2CFB) , Twitter (https://o2uk.co/O2CTW) or Instagram (https://o2uk.co/O2CIG) , they should be able to help you with this or call 4445.
