I have an O2 account where I pay as and when required. I.e. not paying monthly but when my credit gets low. I have never used mobile data but if I did what would it cost per day and how much data would this give me. Also if I used my phone abroad in Teneriff how much would this data cost per day and how much data would I get. Many thanks

£2 is the max it will cost you per day, regardless of how much you use.

Costs are exactly the same in Tenerife.

There are a few different legacy tariffs with different pricing.

Look under tariff details in your MyO2 and it will give you your standard rates.

The same charges will apply when roaming in the EU.

Simply tariff Pay As You Go Simply Pay As You Go Standard Rates | O2

321 tariff Classic Pay As You Go | Help & Support | O2

If you haven't used in in the past 6 months I would advise you try it out and make a call to keep it active.

Nothing worse than going abroad to find the SIM has been disconnected for non use

This is not O2 and we are all customers here similar to yourself and cannot answer account type queries.

Many thanks for the replies. I do know about the 6 month stuff. I cannot remember the last time I make a voice call but I text about once a week. My question is what is the cost of mobile data as when I check via my account it says £3/MB up to max £2/day. What does that mean and what is the cost for mobile data in Teneriff. Many thanks
