hi! i've just gotten a payg sim from o2, with a tariff on it & all works completely fine when using with my iPhone 12. however, the plan was to use this sim with my Nokia 6700, which works fine with other sims but apparently not this one. upon turning the phone on, i'm met with a "Sim card Invalid" message, which i cant bypass. ive tried other sim cards which seem to be working. does anyone have any advice?

So the phone is probably locked to the network from which that sim is from.

Ask them if they will unlock it for you.

Is the Nokia locked to a different network?

hiya! the other sim ive tried with the nokia is my paym sim from a different provider, and it works for calls & texts only (as those providers no longer carry 2g&3g as the nokia requires). but that sim does register in the nokia, even with the lack of packet data

Hi @lilyyyy3

Well that does seem strange.

So please confirm which other network sim works first.
