I have called customer services and spoke to a real person about 2 weeks ago and asked them to stop all text messages from o2, they put me on hold for 5 minutes came back and said it was done, and it will take up to 24 hours to process, 2 weeks later I still get them, sometimes 3 at a time.

I have called 2220  and tried to changed the contact preferences and it says "we are currently dealing with a technical fault"

I am tempted to go back to EE if this does not stop, I only changed to o2 about 3 months ago and have had enough already.

Any ideas?

Occasionally, but they don't take any action.

If you want to speak to O2 you need to contact them.

If you message O2 on Facebook (https://o2uk.co/O2CFB) , Twitter (https://o2uk.co/O2CTW) or Instagram (https://o2uk.co/O2CIG) , they should be able to help you with this.

@itsmeee This is a customer community with no access to anyone else's account, so throwing a hissy fit and swearing will get you nowhere except barred from posting here. Customer service in the many guises it has is the only way to contact O2. There's nothing anyone here can do to help you other than give you contact information.

I DO NOT WORK FOR O2

@itsmeee

Ring them on 0344 809 0202 or 202, or register a complaint with the ICO, google it and you find out how to.

Also tell the agent you are reporting it to them if they dont stop in 7 days, from the point of call.

You need to get with the times as social media is the way forward.

Log into My O2, choose the section More and Look for contact Preferences. Any that are ticked,  untick them.
