Hi

my mum has the oldest phone I’ve ever seen. It’s 15 years old and isn’t smart. Literally can only do texts and calls.

so I’ve an iPhone 7 she can have, but how can I arrange a new sim for her so she keeps her number, and can activate the iPhone?

she tops up the phone in the post office so I guess it’s a pay as you go.

thank you.

(ps she’s not going to be able to arrange this herself , so I need to do it for her!)

You need to call 4445 from your mums phone and request a replacement sim, and then follow the instructions to do a sim swap

- Xperia 1V - o2 and Spusu
- Pixel 8 Pro - o2 and Vodafone UK

How old is your Mum's sim?

It may be a triple which you can just push out the middle if not too old.

3-in-1-SIM

I have no affiliation whatsoever with O2 or any subsidiary companies. Comments posted are entirely of my own opinion. This is not Customer Service so we are unable to help with account specific issues.

Currently using:
Pixel 7a (O2 & Lyca), One Plus 6 (Sfr), iPhone 12 Pro Max (Vodafone)
