To cut a long story short - I work from home and I’ve been experiencing internet issues for almost a week and can’t get online. My manager has advised me to get a data SIM so that I can get back online but I’m not sure if that would even work. I’m on PAYG with O2 and have to connect to my company desktop PC via their VPN, would a data SIM achieve this? Also, would it need to be a bolt on given that I’m PAYG? Thanks in advance!

@dcm85

You can create a hotspot on your phone and connect your laptop to that.

It will use a lot of data though so you may need to change your bundle to one with more data. This can be done in your MyO2.

I have no affiliation whatsoever with O2 or any subsidiary companies. Comments posted are entirely of my own opinion. This is not Customer Service so we are unable to help with account specific issues.
