Hi, I received a text yesterday inviting me to activate my next Big Bundle early and get 5GB of data. So today I topped up but don’t know how to activate early. I’ve been trying all morning to find an answer or to speak to someone. It suits me to activate early as I’m out of data and only 2 days from usual renewal date. The tariff charge is £15 but while I’ve been searching for answers I’ve been charged £2 to browse. This £2 charge happens every month and drives me crazy but that’s for another time..! Does anyone know how to activate a Big Bundle early..? Thanks.. Steve

@sevensaveloy

You need to call O2.

Numbers here Guide: Coronavirus Community Help and Support

Advice from an O2 Guru regarding a way to get through:

If you call 202, when it comes to the reason you are calling stay silent for 15 seconds and you will be taken to the keypad options.

Press 2 for Everything Else

Press 5 for More Options

Press 7 for Anything Else which will put you though to an advisor.

Press Upgrade, Lost/Stolen if you have to.

Or I will ask an account advisor @O2Kyle if he can help get this sorted.

Thanks Cleoriff for your prompt response, much appreciated. I’ve just tried 202 but get a dead tone. Do you know any alternative phone numbers...? Thanks, Steve

You need to dial 4445 for payg.

202 is for contract customers.

I have no affiliation whatsoever with O2 or any subsidiary companies. Comments posted are entirely of my own opinion. This is not Customer Service so we are unable to help with account specific issues.

Apologies @sevensaveloy  4445 is of course PAYG. (A simple copy and paste error)

However, I also tagged @O2Kyle who hasn't responded yet. He is an account advisor who should be able to help.

Edited for info.

Thanks @Cleoriff

Though as much as i'd like to help, i don't have access to PAYG as we work within consumer and i can't tag any colleauges from that team as they're not currently working.

@sevensaveloy  Please let us know if you manage to get through.
