I was fist told that O2 would price-match any deal I found online, when I called with a good one they said no, what are the definitive rules regfarding pricematching?

There are no rules bar new customers getting the same deal as existing customers. Price matching is down to the indidual adviser so it may be worth calling back....

There are no rules for price matching. Usually it's what you see is what you get !

Retentions have some leeway on deals but general CS can only sell what's advertised.

Depends on who you get as well. If the deal isn't good enough, thank them then leave it a few minutes and call again.
