just received my new sim from o2 to replace my sky sim

when i ordered the new sim i gave over the pac code given to me by sky

does my old number automatically change over once i put the new o2 sim in my phone ?

I know this can take up to 24 hours but is normally instant

Only if you received confirmation from O2 and a changeover date.
