I can't send a text to one of my contacts. All others are fine and tested. I've read all the reasons and solutions to fix this, however none have worked. Please can someone help me. Thank you.

We're just customers like you but it sounds as if you need someone to access your account which can't be done from here.

Give O2 a call on 202 or 0344 809 0202 (Contract) OR 4445 or 0344 809 222 (PAYG)

Or you can message O2 on Facebook ( https://o2uk.co/O2CFB) , Twitter ( https://o2uk.co/O2CTW) or Instagram ( https://o2uk.co/O2CIG), hopefully they should be able to help.

What error message are you getting?

Has the recipient checked they haven't blocked your number (for both calls and texts)?

Have they checked with their network as more likely an issue at their side rather than yours.

"Couldn't send text message" I called the contact and there was no issue, it's just a text. I asked someone else to text them and that worked ok. I can receive their texts. I'm guessing I'm not blocked otherwise I wouldn't have been able to speak to them. I'll have a look at the Guide you attached, and thank you for your help.

As I mentioned there are two blocked lists on most phones. One for calls and one for texts, so you may be able to call but not text and vice versa depending on the phone settings.

On some phones it is called spam list in message settings.
