Hi

my speaker has gone on my phone, I can hear people but they can’t hear me

 

please can you advise me what can be done have insurance

It's not a speaker, it's your microphone that could be an issue @Emily652 .
Have you tried using some headphones - either in the headphone jack (if your phone has one) or bluetooth?

Some phones have a diagnostic section in the settings to check hardware - have you tried that to confirm where the issue is?
Also check if you accidentally press the mute button when you are on the phone (my wife does this as she doesn't hold the phone so the screen goes off while on the call).

Depending on which phone you have, and how long you have had it, you might be better off contacting the manufacturer for support.

If you want to make a claim on insurance, you will need to contact o2 and pay up the excess (if there is one).

To do this, either call them on 202 or 0344 809 0202 or message them on social media as below:
