Not if you expect to get 5g though.

Your old sim will only get 4g, so if you are in a 5g area, or travell into one, you'll need to swap to a 5g sim.

O2 will provide one if you nuy a 12 from them, or you can call them to send you one and then do a sim swap Guide: Sim Swap: a mini guide 2017 update
