I bought a new phone yesterday and want to keep the same number. However it’s not transferred the phone number over yet. Was wondering how long I’ll have to wait

You'll need to request either a port if coming from a different network or a sim swap if staying with O2 Guide: Sim Swap: a mini guide 2017 update 

If the same contract or upgrade, just use your old sim.
