Hi guys,

I'm having a nightmare after moving to o2. I was on three network for years and whenever I was talking on the phone, if someone else called me they would not know I'm on the phone and I'd receive the call tone as normal. However....

On o2 it seems I only have 2 options when I'm on the phone, either it goes right to voicemail when I turn call waiting off.. OR.. When someone calls they get a brief busy tone.

Why on earth should anyone know I'm on the phone? It's my business not theirs. Once I told someone I was sleeping so couldn't answer but, they turned around and said I wasn't as it had a 'on the phone' tone when they called.

This is really annoying me and I'm having to explain myself to people.

Please tell me there's a less intrusive way, similar to three network.. Please!!

Is this kind-of what you are after, @Cliff0rd?

Where the phone tells you you have a second call and you can switch to it or flip it straight to Voicemail?

Seems to be phone-dependent, if you read this thread:
