O2 Open IPhoneXS, MAX, XR

I notice the O2 Open discount doesn't apply to :

• iPhone Xs
• iPhone Xs Max
• iPhone XR

Does anybody know when these handsets will be available for the discount, is it usually long after release date ?

I got family plan discount on my daughters iPhone 8 at Christmas last year so that was 3 months from launch.
