O2 Connection Manager Has Stopped Working ...again

Anonymous
Not applicable
Hi there. This seems to be a wide issue which is continues despite uninstalling and reinstalling the latest Connection Manager. The two files that it is suggested needs to be deleted don't exist. Running as Administrator makes no difference.
However changing the date of the laptop to 8th January 2009 ensures the software doesn't error once. Terrific if you are happy to put up with Windows Updates and the installed AV shouting because the date is wrong.
In Event Viewer its always a Faulting Application tscui.exe.
Any thoughts on this issue would be appreciated.
Thanks

Are you making sure that your folder options are set to show hidden files?
Also, if you are using Windows Vista make sure you go into the "Programe Data folder" and not "Programme Files"

If you're still having problems you should be able to locate them in the Windows search feature
