No data roaming in Andorra

Hi..

I've been travelling to Andorra every year for the past 14 years and have previously roamed on their efficient 3G network. Indeed I was able to use my iPhone and data only last August.

This year, however, I received the following text when I arrived and attempted to use data:

"Sorry, mobile data services are not available, you can still make and receive calls, text and use wi-fi"'

Any thoughts on why it's no longer possible to use data there?

For some reason if you look at the international pages and charges it says relax calls and texts are covered in Andorra but then is says data not available I don't know why I think it's something you would have to ask customer services why they have changed it

It now just says data roaming is not available in Andorra maybe a disagreement between the networks?

Have you considered using a local SIM card in the interim.

It's not just Andorra.  There are other countries too.  Generally the decision is due to high costs to o2 in those countries affected, making it not viable to offer the service.

O2 clearly doesn't know

I tweeted about this and O2 tell me it's because Andorra doesn't have data. Err... It's got a perfectly good 3G network, which I used last year.

Plus Voda offer data roaming there...
