New port its 5.30pm and my number isn't ported?

I initiated a port yesterday. My old SIM (with Smarty/Three) is now disconnected/not working from about 10am today. My O2 SIM is working with its temp number but this now means I cannot receive and calls or text on the number I have had for years. Is this normal? I'm very concerned I am missing lots of calls/texts at this point and cannot log into my online banking etc as it needs 2 factor auth.

Try turning your phone off and back on again. If that doesn't help, contact O2 via social media:

Thanks - Yes turned phone off and back on multiple times and now its 6pm when this was meant to be complete. Its a real problem since cannot log onto my bank now as I need to get text to that number being ported in!

I'm having exactly the same issue! I've contacted O2 via Facebook to see if they can explain.

I contacted them on twitter but zero response and now their online chat is closed. Nightmare.
