Hi, does anyone know what the E symbol is that appears instead of the usual 3G or 4G symbol. It only appears in a certain area. Just curious.

“E” stands for EDGE (Enhanced Data rates for GSM Evolution) which is a much slower mobile data connection compared to 3G or 4G.

Basically, a slightly enhanced 2G

This is not O2 and we are all customers here similar to yourself and cannot answer account type queries.
