HELP! A Tado purchase without confirmation email

Hi, Long story short I purchased few Tado devices from O2 website last year and I didn't get the confirmation email but even I got the products so I just leave it like that.

 

Last week I tried to install one of them and the device is obvious an returned item. As I tried to register the serial number it showed that "device registered to another account". When I contacted Tado they said they will need my invoice to unregister this device from another account and obviously I don't have one as I didnt got the confirmation email. 

 

I have been contacting O2 via online chat and Customer service in the phone. They said they cannot do anything as I don't have the invoice number. Funny enough if I had the invoice number I wouldn't be contacting them. I have the credit card statement from last year so I can tell which date, what amount and which card I used. But O2 CS refused to fetch the invoice with any information I am willing to provide. 

 

Can anyone help me with this or suggestion? I bought my tado brand new and it puts me in this frustrating situation 😞
