Ear pro buds offer for £1 with the Samsung 23 ultra 512GB version.

Hi,

I upgraded my contract to the Samsung Ultra 23 in the summer offer during the promotion of the getting the Samsung Pro buds for £1 on the Samsung website. The summer offer was on from the 8th of June until the 5th July and I ordered on the 13th of June. 

 

When I checked online the Bud offer was valid of both the 256GB & 512GB versions of the Samsung 23 Ultra. I also ordered on the phone with customer Service agent who also told me that the Buds offer were included in my order and I would receive a code 30 days after receiving my phone. 

 

It's now 24th July and I still haven't a code. I rang up today, and the customer service agent I spoke with, said that the reason I haven't received my code yet is that only the 256GB phone was only included in the offer. 

 

So I am a bit confused!? I found this posted by another customer service agent on a different forum regarding this same offer. 

 

"Buy a Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra 512GB or Samsung Galaxy S23 256GB ("Qualifying Purchase") direct from O2 between 8 June 2023 until 5 July 2023 and claim one pair of Galaxy Buds2 Pro Graphite for £1 (other colour variants excluded). Galaxy Buds2 Pro Graphite value worth £219. Galaxy Buds2 Pro Graphite value based on price of Galaxy Buds2 Pro Graphite on the Samsung.com/UK website and correct as of 8 June 2023. Customers who purchase the Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra 512GB or Samsung Galaxy S23 256GB will receive an SMS containing a unique voucher code of that value of £218 after 30 days of purchase date"

 

So clearly the 512GB is valid in the offer?

 

I would like some help with this situation and am really hoping I can get the buds, as it was one of the main reasons why I got the upgrade during this promotion period.

Hello, I have already rung and the only information they could give me Is that I haven't received the code due to the offer only being on the 256GB version. But I have information that clearly states that the 512GB was also included in the offer. I just want a second opinion if possible, because I have rung up 02 so many times, and nothing seems to solved unfortunately. I really don't want to keep ringing up all the time and I have rung up so much recently due to other issues. Thanks.

I just called customer services... no quibble at all, they just filled in a form to Samsung and I should get a code within 48 hours. Mine is the S23 Ultra 512GB ordered on 20th June.

I had the same problem.  Ordered a Galaxy S23 256GB model on the 12th June and no code sent.  After three failed attempts and escalations on this with O2 customer support it was the same scenario.  I've escalated it and you should receive the code in 24-48 hour.  Nothing ever arrived. 

 

So I phoned up again.  On the fourth occasion the agent went and simply ordered the buds from their end.  They cut out the middle man and within 30 secs I received an order email detailing the buds should be with me. If you don't get the code and multiple times insist that the O2 agent speaks to their supervisor and issues you a set directly.

I just got something very similar happening, stated that the 512gb not included in offer, informed them of multiple screenshots etc etc, and they reckon I’ll get them directly after much discussion! Still don’t believe anything will come of it personally, very frustrating!
