It's a well known scam.

Block the number and do not follow any links.

Forward the scam text to 7726 - It's free.

Yes it's been going on for at least 12 months.
Lots of reports on here more than anything else.

@Archer The number of posts just like yours, but with a different number quoted, must run to over a thousand on these pages. Follow the advice given to you by @Cleoriff. That's all anyone can advise at this point.
