DC HSDPA

When can we get more details on where DC HSDPA has been enabled? Three have a fair good coverage map which tells you if their "superfast" mobile signals have been upgraded to DC HSDPA but there seems to be no way to find out on O2 website.

Also o2 have been updating all base station equipment since Jan 2011 on a 3 year programme, and these new bits of kit only require software upgrades for 4g etc.

For dc-hsdpa you need coverage from 2 3g masts for it to work.

I'm fairly sure there isn't any on the O2 network except in some major cities.

Sorry mate but that doesn't tell me if there's DC HSDPA like on Three coverage map.

As for perksie, I'm just wondering if and when Cambridge will get it. Three has already got it up so why is O2 not even mentioning anything? Seems poor form for such a huge telecom...

Just my opinion but I think they will go straight for 4G and they've guaranteed to have 98% coverage of the UK with 2G,3G and 4G by 2015, although many are saying it will be by 2014.

Hey, I understand what dc means and roughly how it operates but I want to know when it'll be enabled in my area. Is that too much to ask for?

o2 never say when a mast will be enabled in advance even for 3g so I doubt they will do it for dc but I bet they will list the areas that will get 4g launches

With all due respect that was my third post on the same subject without a real answer.  I already stated that the O2 coverage map yet you insisted on linking it. Please before you post in future.
