I am not able to receive texts from phone numbers registered abroad. I checked my phone settings and I should be able to to received texts from abroad. Think it may be O2 that is restricting the receipt of messages. Any suggestions on what I can do in this instance?

Looks like you should contact customer service as they can help with that – message them on Social Media if that works best for you -on Facebook (https://o2uk.co/O2CFB) , Twitter (https://o2uk.co/O2CTW) or Instagram (https://o2uk.co/O2CIG) or call on 202 or 0344 809 0202 (contract) or 4445 or 0344 8090222 (PAYG).

I have no affiliation whatsoever with O2 or any subsidiary companies. Comments posted are entirely of my own opinion. This is not Customer Service so we are unable to help with account specific issues.

Currently using:
Pixel 7a (O2 & Lyca), One Plus 6 (Sfr), iPhone 12 Pro Max (Vodafone)

@Ann_80 There are no charges to receive texts, so you shouldn't be having a problem. Ways to contact O2 can be found here: Re: How to find help & contact O2: A Guide - O2 Community

If for any reason you're still having difficulty, download WhatsApp and make sure the people you want to reach have the app too. You can then call, text and video call anyone anywhere in the world over a WiFi connection for free.

I DO NOT WORK FOR O2
