I am travelling to America middle of next year and would like to know the best way to use my mobile.

Using a local sim or using apps such as WhatsApp on wifi may be considerably cheaper.

@Hanabongo Spending money on a local sim would depend on how long you're planning to stay in the US. Using a local sim would certainly get you a better data signal. You should also check to see if your phone would be compatible with US networks:

I DO NOT WORK FOR O2
