Solved: 5G

Hi,

I currently have a Samsung A12 phone ( SIM only for 2 years)

I only to seem get 3G coverage where I live (DT6 4AT)

Can this be upgraded to 5G? It isn't an old phone, but I'm concerned that in the coming months, my phone will be useless. Or does my area not cover 5G at the moment.

There is no 5g in your location but you should get 4g at least https://status.o2.co.uk/

You may need a new sim or your phone settings adjusting.

Check in network settings that 4g is selected.

If you need a new sim, pop into your local O2 store with photo ID.
