Hi clever people, i have a Smartwatch/Phone and i was wondering if i can get a second sim, with the same number as the Main one, so i can put this in my watch. I can then leave my phone at home if i wish?

I'm a member of various forums for people with these watches, and i know a lot of those guys are doing just this, but i don't think any of them are in the UK, any ideas please.

Thanks

I don't know which other networks would allow this?

If you try it here then one of the devices would lose connection.

O2-DE allow it and we did try here to get O2-UK to do it too, but they said there was no call for it (which really means we have no intention of offering it).

I have no affiliation whatsoever with O2 or any subsidiary companies. Comments posted are entirely of my own opinion. This is not Customer Service so we are unable to help with account specific issues.

Currently using:
Pixel 7a (O2 & Lyca), One Plus 6 (Sfr), iPhone 12 Pro Max (Vodafone)

Thanks for confirming i'm not going mad !!

i've been on the Android Watch forum again and a couple of people in europe are doing it (don't know if Germany or not) and it seems at&t or t mobile in the US of A are also doing it (possibly via an app?)

It's a shame we can't get it in the UK, i don't want to have to remove my sim from my phone and put it in the watch every time !  Cheers

You could go for the cheapest sim only tariff and just forward your phone to it.

Easier that swapping sims.
