PAYG SIM in intruder alarm no longer sends picture MMS

I have a PAYG SIM in an intruder alarm system, which when originally setup, sent picture messages when activated.  However it no longer does so, ordinary text messages do still operate by sending and receiving texts, allowing me to activate and deactivate the device.

There is plenty of credit on the SIM, so that shouldn't be the issue.  When given the command to send a picture, the alarm sends me a text stating that a MMS image is being sent, but none arrives.

I would like to identify where the issue is, with the SIM MMS service via O2 or with the alarm.  Can anyone advise how to proceed with resolving the problem.

Thanks

Gordon

@GordonMcM

Lots of complaints of MMS not working currently so assume it's a network issue.

I have no affiliation whatsoever with O2 or any subsidiary companies. Comments posted are entirely of my own opinion. This is not Customer Service so we are unable to help with account specific issues.

Currently using:
Pixel 7a (O2 & Lyca), One Plus 6 (Sfr), iPhone 12 Pro Max (Vodafone)
