My I pad turns on but screen stays black. I have pressed and held the on button and home button at the same time, but nothing happens. Help please.

Hi, no my I pad is not working at all, it’s a hardware issue. I contacted Apple they were so helpful and patient and they are going to repair it for me fingers crossed.
