I've actually been to the Boardwalk in Santa Cruz, which was one of the filming locations:

The soundtrack is absolutely superb.

I've got the film on DVD @pgn  though I still watch it when it's on TV.

I think it's the best of it's genre. Combined comedy with sheer terror. Not forgetting the absolutely gorgeous vampires.

For 1987, it has to go down as one of the most iconic classic films of all all time.
