WARNING never tamper your electric meter, it wont save you money

in september 2022 i tampered my electric meter to get half price electricity, 17.5p per KWH instead of 35p per KWH. everything went well until the 1st of december 2023, an inspector came to check the meter and the tampering was found. i have now been backbilled for the period deceber 2022 - december 2023. i also received a £1000 fine. effectively i now have paid 70p per KWH for the electricity.

consequences of the meter tampering:

a large fine

a criminal record

higher insurance premiums

i can never have any friends again
