I have heard many stories about Ryanair...but this one is priceless
A father paid for 2 flights to Ibiza for this daughter and her boyfriend, Sadly he put the wrong surname for the lad on the ticket. When the boyfriend rang Ryanair to change his name, he was told the cost would be £220
So.... he was having none of that. He changed his name for free by deed poll .....and got a new passport (£103) He said it was his way of 'sticking it to Ryanair' ...
I had to re-read it... to check it was true

Actually perksie...the lads username on FB was Adam West...taken from Batman. The dad thought it was his real name ......and it was a surprise for the kids...so yeah I can see how it would happen...His real name was Adam Armstrong

The moral is - never try and surprise people!

True...Oh and incidentally, I use Ryanair all the time when I fly to Spain. People can moan all they like but they are still the cheapest around. In all the years I have been flying with them they have never let me down... All I want when I fly to Spain is to get there quickly.....with no frills or fuss. (Now I have said that whilst in Spain...I am crossing my fingers of course)

I flew to Italy and back for under £14, so have no complaints.
