I've just read this. To be honest I hadn't heard of him before, though from what I read he was a very troubled young man with mental and physical health problems

Too young to die at 28

Thoughts are with his family and friends

Over here he had much chart-places, dk if in UK too. He quit his live-career in 2016. Always thought he may have been sick in some kind of way...

A real shock this though he did look a little frail in the last year or so. He brought a ot of real pleasure to so many people and you could see how much music meant to him.RIP slight_frown

I feel a bit dim saying I hadn't heard of him.

I stand by that but now I've checked, I remember many of his songs, particularly 'Wake Me Up' and 'Levels'

I just read that despite retiring from touring in 2016, he revealed just two days ago - in his last tweet - that he's been nominated for a Billboard Music Award for top dance/electronic album.
