A very entertaining man in the 60's and 70's. He did have a problem with alcohol, usually just before filming for a TV show.

Thought he was brilliant when he first started and I don't remember his equal at the time

But as time went on he did become very boring and to be perfectly honest, not that good really

Wonderful impersonator. Saw him live at Wakefield Theatre Club many years ago. My favourite was prime minister of the day Harold Wilson. The 'catchphrase' was 'Never at the Brighton Conference' You have to be of a certain age to understand that. R.I.P. Mike Yarwood.
