Not looking forward to this afternoon. :(

Hey Guys,

Certainly not looking forward to this afternoon.    slight_frown

Hospital appointment with a surgeon for eye laser surgery.

I've been going through treatment for quite a while now and this is my fourth treatment to save my eyesight.

The comical side of it is peoples faces when they see me commuting back home wearing sunglasses. Their facial expressions are awesome as I can see them thinking "Why's that fool got them on in this weather."   Smiley Very Happy

Good luck!

I'm thinking about getting this done. Is it painful?

Good luck BOB! Not something I would want to experience personally but a friend of mine had to have cataracts removed using laser surgery. He was fine after a couple of days and it certainly saved his sight.

I too wear sunglasses when I'm outside. However, my reason is simply that wrap around ones (cheap from Betterware) help to deflect the wind , as my eyes, and nose are constantly running while I'm out in any weather. It was suggested it's like hay fever, only it goes on throughout the year, apart from when I leave Southampton on a cruise.Maybe I'm allergic to this area in Northants, or England.:smileywink:

i hope your operation succeeds, and you are soon on the mend.

I've had the excess leaky blood vessels inside the back of the eye zapped with lazer before, its not nice while the zapping is going on & you end up with pink vision for the rest of the day slight_frown
