This year I got a delicious meal in a nice restaurant as a Christmas present and it was lovely. Many years ago when I was a teenager I got my first mobile phone from my parents as a present and that was really cool at the time, I think it was the Nokia 5110. I do prefer gifts that are related to experiences and spending time with loved ones so for me the restaurant was a lovely idea and I wouldn't mind it as a Christmas present next year either!

I love spending time with family.
However, being avaricious, I do love gold jewellery. Anything gold is nice. Over the years I have collected quite a lot and have some which I no longer use. My other half took it to the Jewellery Centre in Birmingham just before Christmas. Shocked to find we had £1580 trade in value on it. It certainly didn't cost that amount when it was bought!!
Nice little Christmas bonus.

Though some people change phones or cars every year...so I think I'm ok. Also a much better return on gold nowadays.
