he has said he got the idea of Grace Brothers, after using his experience when working in a London department store called Simpsons = he got fired for selling soft drinks in the changing room
he was briefly married to Joanna Lumbley who said he was a charming man & they should just have had a riotous affair
I remember him on the USA Rowan & Martin's Laugh In = I suppose every American's idea of the quintessential Englishman
