Hello @Luke30
I have no holiday in mind. In my opinion it would be very dangerous to go abroad, not least sitting in a flying cigar tube how that could be covid safe.
Anyway I enjoy my home.
Thanks for the question Luke

No plans as yet. Certainly won't be abroad but, I'm waiting to see how we feel.

We have a week in SkegVegas in June, at my mother-in-laws caravan, not what we would usually go, but we need a break after both working all the way through lockdown.. and its free....

We also have Stockholm planned for Christmas, also fancy a trip back to Israel as well....

I have no worries about getting on a plane, the air is recycled, everyone in a mask... Safer than a supermarket some say, and i miss the feeling of being at 37,000 Feet and not a care in the world 🙂

According to the news, Israel will be THE place to go this year.

How unusual is that? Well done to them with their handling of Covid 19.

The warning is, no holiday abroad will be cheap this year.

I spent 6 months working in Israel (and flying home every week) and i fell in love with the place, beautiful, lovely people and food...

Israel has never been cheap to get to and hotels are expensive, i think my employers paid a small fortune some weeks.

Just wait when people say we want to go to Gibraltar... Flights in the Summer are towards £1000 return, and the 4 hotels are fully booked and companies and start working towards £300 per night and there are limited flights per day... (This is in a normal year)

I would never fly direct to Gibraltar. I'd go to Malaga and either pick up a hire car, or a coach.

If you put your 'foot down' in a car, you can get to Gib in 90 minutes.
