I don't smoke, nor drink at all, but I am a bit overcompensatory with the munch!!! I need to lose 3 stone IMMEDIATELY! lol
One thing I did think, reading this article, was that you would most definitely be fit, riding or walking around Caerphilly! It's very hilly! I live in Cardiff, which is relatively congested with cars, but flat-ish, compared to the valleys in Wales, so walking would be my option. Pity I am quite agoraphobic! I'm 31 and have to see a chiropractor twice/wk because any exertion inflames my back. Booooooooooo. Maybe living in zero-gravity would ease my aches for a bit.... hmmm lol

I used to cycle a lot back in the day....Now, probably due to the many road traffic accidents I see involving cyclists, I haven't been on a bike for years...

I smoke, I drink and go with very loose women and expect to live for at least another 3 months
Seriously though, when in the UK I go to the gym 4 times a week. With the right supporting trainer you will benefit enormously. Exercise is aimed at any personal difficulty you may have and you will get enormous benefits from it.
I'm 64 and have severe kidney problems butI have a set regime and constant supervision to monitor my wellbeing.
I'm not a muscled bound take your shirt off type of guy and my six-pack is more two-pack but I have lost flab.
If exercise is limited to road and weather conditions I strongly recommend it no matter your age or physical condition.
