I've tried to pay off my device plan and then get a PAC code this morning and been told, after getting through to an agent, that the system is being upgraded and to call back in 4 hours. So I waited for 4 hours and have called back only to be told to call back in another 4 hours. Is this going to be the case in 4 hours??

It's possible that you are being changed over to the new billing system and until that's completed customer service won't be able to access it

No one on here will know how long until you are able to pay and get your PAC so it's a matter of persevering with calling them

Hopefully the outcome will be different if you call back in a couple of days.

In truth, if there is a system upgrade in progress, any request that you call back in xx hours is always going to be an estimate.

It could be an issue on your account, give the payment management team a call on 0800 902 0217 and get them to pass it to the o2 IT team, it might take upto 5 days for the back office team to fix it.

- Xperia 1V - o2 and Spusu
- Pixel 8 Pro - o2 and Vodafone UK
