Canadian by birth ... popularised Gaelic music & culture ... took over lead vocalist of Runrig from Donnie Munro.

I know you're a big fan of Runrig's music and I thought of you when I heard the news.

The guy was good and an excellent replacement for Donnie Munro who was a hard act to follow.

Far too young at 62 though ..... R.I.P. Bruce Guthro.

Saw something recently on my mobile phone feed ... ... ... an interior of a very large house / place of worship ... ... ... Rory & Calum practically acoustically singing 'Hearts of Olden Glory' ..... Rory was sitting down lead vocal with his wooden guitar ... + ... Callum standing to his left singing back up and playing tambourine ... = ... both men singing the iconic song with understanding feeling, however, Rory's face was a very emotional red colour ..... large congregation ... ... ... would have liked to have known where the church service came from and the official name of the place of worship ... Bruce Guthro 💖 R.I.P. ... ... ... You Will Be Much Missed all over the world xx.
