O2 food offers - How long does "save for later" last?

Is there a time limit on the "save for later" option for food/drink offers? I managed to grab one but when I went to use it it was gone. I know there's 30 minutes once activated, but I never got that far this time.

Do they keep giving away codes until 10,000 are actually used so you can lose out by trying to save it?

First come first served so unless you use it immediately, there's no guarantee.

I have no affiliation whatsoever with O2 or any subsidiary companies. Comments posted are entirely of my own opinion. This is not Customer Service so we are unable to help with account specific issues.

That's fair. Presumably once the 30 minute timer is active you're safe? Otherwise you could make an order and lose out before getting it!

It could be worded more clearly whether it's first come to receive the code, activate the code, or actually use the code. It's just a coffee or whatever but I was curious as I'm usually done by 7:30.

You're not safe until the order has gone through the till and been accepted.
