I'm looking to upgrade my current handset and contract, having reviewed my options I've noticed that for a £220 upfront cost, with a 36-month contract and 20GB of data, the iPhone 12 pro costs £22.73 per month and £24 for airtime. Whereas the iPhone 13pro for the same upfront cost and contract length, with 150GB of data the device costs £20.22 per month, and £29.99 for airtime. So over 36 months the iPhone 13 pro costs £727.92 and the older iPhone 12 pro costs £818.28, how does this make any sense? Can someone at O2 share how they've worked this out?

O2 are selling the 128GB 12 pro for £1038.00 and the iPhone 13 pro 128GB for £947.92.
Better pricing from Apple, perhaps?
