Hello,
I currently have an iPhone 12 Pro Max with a physical SIM card. I'm wondering if I could get myself a Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra and have my number on both devices? eSIM maybe? I'd like to be able to choose between devices without losing anything. I've been an Apple user for many years and have all the other devices that pair well with the iPhone. I don't think I'm quite ready to abandon the whole iCloud, iMessage etc things just yet but I can't deny I really like some of the Samsung features and would love to be able to choose between the 2 depending on the day/scenario.
Thanks,

Thanks for your answers and I was praying for a different answer, so how do the cellular Apple Watches work (I used to have one on EE) and I could answer the call on my watch when my phone was in another location. This had an eSIM.

eSims still have a different number which they use to connect to data.
The calls can be made and answered by utilising 4g calling facilities but still via the paired watch.
