Hi Everyone, can you help please? My sister is in a nursing home and has been ordered a tablet that has 2G or 3G capacity and the description states it can take a standard sim.

Can you tell me if I add a sim only plan to my current account will this be sufficent for her tablet needs please?

Thank you

@CHeys999

You need a data sim.

Choices here:

PAYG https://www.o2.co.uk/shop/sim-cards/pay-as-you-go#simtype=freeSimIpadsTablets

Contract https://www.o2.co.uk/shop/sim-cards/sim-only-deals#deviceType=tablet&contractLength=P12M

I have no affiliation whatsoever with O2 or any subsidiary companies. Comments posted are entirely of my own opinion. This is not Customer Service so we are unable to help with account specific issues.

Currently using:
Pixel 7a (O2 & Lyca), One Plus 6 (Sfr), iPhone 12 Pro Max (Vodafone)

The tablet may be capable (I have one that is) but O2 won't allow it.

I have a Three sim in mine who do allow calls to be made on their tablet sims.
