Can’t send messages to international numbers

What the title says. They don’t even come up as failed to send, but I ask the people I’ve sent the messages to if they’ve received them and they have not. I’ve tried this with 4 separate numbers. The country code is correct as I am able to call those numbers, just not text them. I also bought the international bolt on for £3 to see if it would help and it didn’t.

Also the only reason I’m posting here is cos all the agents are busy and there isn’t an email I can send my issue to??

Are there any error messages on your handset?

Have you tried a direct reply from a message they have sent you?

@meanwhale If you and the people you're texting have WhatsApp you won't need the bolt-on. You can text them for free over WiFi.

@Bambino I appreciate the workaround, I’m trying to get the root of the problem fixed so I don’t have to rely on whatsapp or iMessage

If it’s working as a reply It’s worth deleting the contact/s, sometime duplicates cause an issue. Then copy and paste the number from the message and save to a new contact.
