Solved: transfer of number

I have just gotten a new iphone today, all my apps, photos and contacts have transferred. My mam bought me this phone as a present and said to keep my old number on my new sim and it has not and has gave me a new number. I have just went through the process on 02 on the internet to transfer my number and did the PAC code and stuff but just wondering when it will change and when will i know and if it even will change as this is an issue

You need to get confirmation from O2 that your PAC has been accepted.

They will then give you a date for the changeover.
