My phone says invalid sim, it’s a new SIM card, I’ve tried activating SIM card but I’m not receiving a text

You need to send the text from your old sim to start the process Guide: Sim Swap: a mini guide 2017 update

If you don't have it, you need to contact O2 Guide: How to find help & contact O2
