SIM card put in after 28 day

Hi

I recently changed joined 02 from another provider and am waiting for my SIM card to be sent to me as I am abroad at the moment. I saw it says I must put the new SIM card in within 28 days of purchase however I am not going to receive it within this time period. Will my contract still change over if I put it in after this time or what will I need to do if not? Thanks Cat

Your contract will still start within a few days of the sim being ordered

You may need to call O2 to activate the sim when you  return to the UK
